This area is filled with special festivals, cultural activities, and some of the best BC Entertainment, where there’s always a place to go and people to see. Head to a park filled with musicians and entertainers one day then catch a delicious wine festival the next.

Music Festivals:

The mix of great weather and phenomenal talent makes the Interior a Mecca for music. This is very apparent in the summer months with the number of music festivals in our area. Salmon Arm holds an annual Roots and Blue Festival, while Music in the Park is an event that Kamloops locals and tourists alike look forward to in the summer months. The BC Interior Jazz Festival in Kelowna is always a popular destination.

Other festivities include the annual Kamloops Powwow, where the First Nations Culture comes alive through song and dance. The Okanagan International Children’s Festival, for the young and young at heart.
